Don't be lazy

The last few days haven't been easy to my summer project!

A really bad combo lately.

But it's over!

Let's go back to running - had been on a daily basis, but with the poor weather conditions (rain + strong wind) have slowed the rhythm...

I'm still firm on my new year's resolution and you? Are you motivated or lazy?

In fact, we need to have willpower and inspiration is also good - remember the post about Thaila? I pretend doing more so I get inspired and so do you, right? 

A few tips that helps me fight the lazyness:

1. Do exercise for yourself: because you want to be healthier, because you want to be fit, whatever your reasons are. You are the one who wins in all this.

2. Rest once in a while - you don't need to exercise every single day! My case is different, I cannot pause so may times, otherwise my body gets lazy and lazy...

 3. If you need, grab that gym-aholic friend and go with her!

4. Exercise in the morning, before your brain even realises what you're doing! It works with me.

Tested & Approved

My dear friend Inês gave me this eye shadow palette on my birthday. She knew how long I was craving it! ahah

I love all the colors and use it on a daily basis, off couse for the day we need to blend a little bit more the colors and use them in a softer way. That's why this is perfect for every occasion, don't you agree?

The primer came together and is great to that the eye shadows last a bit longer - I'd never used a primer for the eyes and loved the result!

Granado - brazilian beauty brand

The other day I talked about Granado in this post - a brazilian brand that I have recently discovered in Rio (thanks to the tip of Vic - Dia de Beauté - soon we'll have a surprise from her, stay tuned! ;)

Emollient butter (very hydrating!), Soap from Phebo (wonderful smell), body oil with açaí, footbath (I loooove these rituals!!) and the nail strengthener oil (I was desperately needing this!)

Granado was founded by a portuguese and it's only sold in Brazil - the brand has already many years in the market and well known for the quality of the products, with a reasonable price.

The packages are so cute that it's almost impossible to resist, don't you think?

And the products I've brought and tested are so aproved! :)

The Freedom Tour

 

One of the things I like to do is travel. And when I see people who left everything behind to go around the world (#whatadream!)  I am sure that anything is possible!!

Golden Globes Beauty

Did you watch the Golden Globes last night?

I've commented some on the facebook fun page, but then I got sleepy with the boring dresses...

That's why I prefer to comment on the hair and makeup:

Jennifer Lawrence

My favorite hair of the night maybe, a little bit messy, with some braids coming up there. So chic! In the makeup, eyes is the only thing you see there. I liked it. Did you?

Julianne Hough

Absolutely loved her hair and makeup and the dress (until the waste line - from there down it was terrible)

Jessica Chastain

I liked the hair long wavez - a little bit weird in the front, but ok. Just love the color of her hair (someday, when I have courage, I will do something like that! ahah) Focus on the lashes.

Megan Fox

She is absolutely gorgeous, isn't she? She can put anything on and she kicks anyway! Focus on the eyes and nude lips. Big waves on the hair, just for one side - liked it a lot!

And, off course, the accessories are great!

Emily Blunt

I love this hairdo (ok, maybe not for this occasion, but she's gorgeous anyway). Also liked makeup and earings.

Perfect face, no doubt! Loooove the earings!

One of the few that went with colored lips. More large waves on the hair (one sided)

Katharine McPhee

Maybe the stongest eyes of the night, but I loved it! Also loved the hair - I am so into top knots - I might have thought that neckline too exaggerated, but on her anything feels right! ahah

Marion Cotillard

We're used to see her with updo's but I really liked to see her like this, simple. The makeup is absolutely gorgeous!

Basically, most of them were quite discreet in the makeup and hair, and I liked that. The dresses we not to die for, in my opinion.

Best sale buys

I am veryyy happy with these sales purchases in Zara! My top 3: boots a la Isabel Marant (#loveher!), the leather jacket, which discount was beyond spectacular (from 199 to 69€!) And this oriental-inspired clutch! Zara´s winter sale started badly but then the good prices quickly appeared! My advice: follow the online site and pay attention to the markdowns! Buy what you REALLY want and think about pieces that can be used in next seasons!

Açaí

Have you heard about açaí? 

It's a fruit from Amazónia (Brazil) and has a huge success in Brazil specially. And you know how fanatic they are with their bodies, right? ;)

It's quite easy to find it there and now we have in Portugal (in some Pingo Doce supermarkets).

It comes in this bowl and we heat it in the microwave for 1 minute (to have a creamy texture) and mix it with cereals and fruit (or just one of this).

The beneficts of Açaí for our health:

- Acts as anticancer agent

  - Great natural energy

  - Strengthens mental and physical health

  - Rich source of fiber, phosphorus, minerals, calcium, potassium, iron and vitamins (A and B)

  - Inhibits the formation of free radicals and cholesterol, preventing premature aging.

Farm Summer House

Once in a while I talk about FARM - a brazilian fashion brand (from Rio de Janeiro), well known for its beautiful prints.

The brand is not sold in other countries, other than Brazil, that's why I always have to go back to Rio to shop in Farm! ahah

Last tuesday was the "Casa Farm " Opening in Ipanema (Rio de Janeiro). I was in Rio and a friend is working for the brand there so I went to check it out:
