Body business

I love a beauty routine - I do it every single day.
Today, I'm here to share some products I'm using right now:

1. Tightening body cream StriVectin-TL - I'd never tried this one before but I'm quite happy with it. Improves skin elasticity and refines body contours. Apply in critical areas.
2. Scrubbing tool Sephora. I use it once a week, in the shower.
3. Body milk (dry and sensitive skin) Lierac Prescription. my skin is dry and I need a good hydration everyday - this one is great!
4. Body scrub Caudalie - love this product. I'm using it for years!
5. Shower cream (dry and sensitive skin) Lierac Prescription. I love this brand and this one is divine!
6. Long lasting tan mousse Vita Liberata - I can't stand my palid body skin at the moment. Until summer is not here, I'm trying this tan mousse and so far so good!
7. Feet cream Neutrógena. Nobody deserves dry feet, right?
8. Anti-aging corrective serum for neck Biotherm. Because not only our face deserves special treatment.

The only golden rule I do believe when it comes to beauty products is:
DISCIPLINE!
You cannot expect miracles if you start using a anti-cellulitis cream 2 weeks before going to the beach!
Want to share any special product from that side? Go ahead!

Vic Ceridono

Beauté = Vic Ceridono
Do you know Vic Ceridono? She is the Beauty Editor from Vogue Brasil and the person behind Dia de Beauté.

We love her work and we'd like to share with you a little bit more about this brasilian beauty muse:
{ Vic, tell us a little bit about yourself }
"I've always loved the universe of beauty, today I consider myself very lucky to be able to work with that. I love my work in Vogue - being beauty editor, my job is to coordinate the whole section, even if I am not the one writing all the articles. I spend all my day thinking in beauty eheh! I also love writing on the blog, it's like a child for me! Even it can not be my number 1 priority, it's always on my mind and I try to keep up the beat. I'm not lacking subjects, the problem is time to run it! "

{ Who are your beauty muses? }
"Cate Blanchett - I want to grow old like her, her hair and makeup are always impeccably done, without being too much.
I like a natural look, even with stronger makeup on it. Emma Stone got my attention and I also love Keira Knightley and Sarah Jessica Parker. For me, beauty cannot be obvious, it has to have personality and style! "

{ 5 products that must be in a women's beauty kit? }
"Blush, concealer, eyelash curler, mascara, black eye pencil and lipstick. Ups, there wete six of them!!"

{ Favorite Beauty Ritual? }
"More than anything, I love massages. My dream is to do it every single day!! Still not possible for me, but whenever I can I go to Kennuzur Spa in São Paulo, which is a magical and wonderful place to go. I also do shiatsu at home, when I have time every week. Do my nails every week is quite a brazilian habit that I don't live without. I also love going to the hair saloon when I have a wedding - I do the makeup myself at home - it's other favorite beauty ritual I do have, I would just like to do it more often!"

{ Which Brazilian beauty brands should exist in Portugal? Some of those we cannot miss when visiting Brazil. }

"I believe Natura is the biggest brand that represents Brazil - I specially love the Ekos line with moisturizers, soaps and bath products. Another one I'm in love with is Quem disse, Berenice? It's new in the market and it's part of Boticário group. You have lots of color options, que quality is very good and affordable. You also have to know Phebo and Granado - very traditionals with gorgeous packagings, a very brazilian DNA!
Ah! I cannot forget to talk to you about Sol de Janeiro, a new brand specialized in sun protection, very brazilian and great quality!"

{ Which is the trend for summer makeup (here it's still winter!)? }
"We are still in summer here in Brazil, we have reversed seasons! Here in the summer it's all about vibrant lips! Red, orange and pink are the hits. Natural skin, not quite dull is also a strong trend."

{ Beauty porweful tip }
"Besides using sun protector every single day to avoid premature aging - basic but I couldn't not talk about this! - I think everyone should exfoliate the skin once a week. The skin gets immediately smoother!! "

{ Beauty wishes for 2013? }
"Have more time to do my makeup!! We need to try different looks, right?"
Did you like the enterview? Victoria is so kind and sweet. Thanks a lot Vic!
Big kiss!

Overnight cure

The beginig of the year is the perfect timing to restore the energy of our skin. The new Botanical D-Tox from Sisley is almost in the market and I'm dying to try it.
It's not a regular moisturizer, it's an overnight detoxifying (must be used alone, even without eye cream).
During sleeping hours the skin is naturally in regeneration phase and begins the process of repairing the damage of the day, that's why moisturizing the skin at night with a special cream is so important. Although some creams can be used both morning and night, I prefer not to do it - I like having a specific cream to each occasion.
This cream is to be used as a 4-week cure and actuates in 3 levels:
1. It is a powerful detoxifying
2. Stimulates natural defenses of the skin against stress. I mean, increases the defenses of our skin against daily aggressions
3. It's like a "shock treatment" for the skin
Who doesn't need a skin shock treatment once in a while? In the beginning of a new year, at the end of winter, beginning of spring, after pregnancy, accumulated jet lag, sleepless nights... so many times!
all I need right now!

Let´s shrink the pores!!

From left to right:

1// Pore Refining Solutions Correcting Serum Clinique 2// Z-Pore Instant Pore Refiner, Good Skin Labs 3// Global Perfect Pore Minimizer Sisley  4// Tea Tree Pore Minimizer, The Body Shop 5// Hyséac Uriage 6// Rare Earth Pore Minimizing Kiehl’s 7// Visionnaire Correcteur Fondamental, Lancôme 8// Pure Effect Control Shine Nivea 9// The Porefessional, Benefit 10// Idealist, Estée Lauder

If you have dry skin your pores probably don't present a huge problem; they're more visible on oily skin like mine!! But you can minimize their appearance. The right products really can make a big difference. They help minimize the pore to a certain degree and transform your skin! Be sure that your skin is properly clean, use a good serum and work a clay mask into your routine. Twice a week, after washing and exfoliating your face, put a hot towel on your face for two minutes, pressing it into the skin to help open up your pores. Splash your face with cool water and then apply the mask. Sensitive skins can also mix clay with floral water!If you know more tips, tell me! I want to know ;)

Someday...

I WILL BE A REDHEAD!
Emma Stone
Julianne Moore
Julia Petit
Marina Ruy Barbosa
Kristen Stewart

I never colored my hair.
I know, I know you'll say it will go back to normal and everything, but I don't buy that theory, sorry! I've always wanted to be a redhead, like the girls I've chosen in the images above.
So, what do you think, should I risk it or not?

Tested & Approved

My dear friend Inês gave me this eye shadow palette on my birthday. She knew how long I was craving it! ahah
I love all the colors and use it on a daily basis, off couse for the day we need to blend a little bit more the colors and use them in a softer way. That's why this is perfect for every occasion, don't you agree?
The primer came together and is great to that the eye shadows last a bit longer - I'd never used a primer for the eyes and loved the result!

Granado - brazilian beauty brand

The other day I talked about Granado in this post - a brazilian brand that I have recently discovered in Rio (thanks to the tip of Vic - Dia de Beauté - soon we'll have a surprise from her, stay tuned! ;)
The adds, very vintage style - I love it!
One of the stores in Brazil
pink line - one of my favorites
Some products I brought from Rio
Emollient butter (very hydrating!), Soap from Phebo (wonderful smell), body oil with açaí, footbath (I loooove these rituals!!) and the nail strengthener oil (I was desperately needing this!)

Granado was founded by a portuguese and it's only sold in Brazil - the brand has already many years in the market and well known for the quality of the products, with a reasonable price.
The packages are so cute that it's almost impossible to resist, don't you think?
And the products I've brought and tested are so aproved! :)

Golden Globes Beauty

Did you watch the Golden Globes last night?
I've commented some on the facebook fun page, but then I got sleepy with the boring dresses...
That's why I prefer to comment on the hair and makeup:
Jennifer Lawrence
My favorite hair of the night maybe, a little bit messy, with some braids coming up there. So chic! In the makeup, eyes is the only thing you see there. I liked it. Did you?
Julianne Hough
Absolutely loved her hair and makeup and the dress (until the waste line - from there down it was terrible)
Jessica Chastain
I liked the hair long wavez - a little bit weird in the front, but ok. Just love the color of her hair (someday, when I have courage, I will do something like that! ahah) Focus on the lashes.
Megan Fox
She is absolutely gorgeous, isn't she? She can put anything on and she kicks anyway! Focus on the eyes and nude lips. Big waves on the hair, just for one side - liked it a lot!
And, off course, the accessories are great!
Emily Blunt
I love this hairdo (ok, maybe not for this occasion, but she's gorgeous anyway). Also liked makeup and earings.
Julian Moore
Perfect face, no doubt! Loooove the earings!
Jessica Alba
One of the few that went with colored lips. More large waves on the hair (one sided)
Katharine McPhee
Maybe the stongest eyes of the night, but I loved it! Also loved the hair - I am so into top knots - I might have thought that neckline too exaggerated, but on her anything feels right! ahah
Marion Cotillard
We're used to see her with updo's but I really liked to see her like this, simple. The makeup is absolutely gorgeous!

Basically, most of them were quite discreet in the makeup and hair, and I liked that. The dresses we not to die for, in my opinion.
Any favorite?
